Malachi becomes and Eagle ScoutOn June 27, Malachi earned his Eagle Scout rank.  The Eagle Scout is the highest achievement attainable in the Boy Scouts of America program. The designation "Eagle Scout" was founded over one hundred years ago.

Malachi was honored in an award ceremony on November 4, 2017, hosted by his family and his troop.  A flag was presented to him that was flown over the US Capitol in his honor.

For his Eagle Scout project, Malachi built a canoe/kayak dock on the Hobbs Farm Greenbelt, a community sports and recreation area.  The mayor of his community designated a Malachi Day to recognize his achievement and contribution. Malachi Eagle Service Project

Malachi is a senior in high school and an exceptional young man.  He is studying in an International Baccalaureate program, with a focus on Spanish. He has been involved with the robotics program for seven years and is interested in remotely operated vehicles (ROV).  ROVs are remotely controlled underwater vehicles.  Malachi has a bright future ahead of him and we at Hemophilia of Georgia wish him the best.  Congratulations, Malachi.
