It takes more than medicine...

At the Heart of a Golf Tournament

When you volunteer or play golf at a golf tournament you are giving much more than time or money. At HoG we say “it takes more than medicine”, and at the Hit ‘Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament it takes more than the HoG staff to make it a success. This is much more than just another charity event. At the heart of the Hit ‘Em for Hemophilia golf tournament are 200 golfers, more than 50 volunteers, and a 32-year history of amazing supporters who give both time and money to support bleeding disorder research.

Every raffle package purchased, every hour spent in a committee meeting, and every box loaded -unloaded - loaded and unloaded once again, is a gift. Imagine the gifts we’ve received in 32 years of the tournament!

The 32-year history of the tournament has shown change is happening. Over $12 million dollars has been contributed to research. You are taking action to make sure research into this very rare disorder continues. What does the money you raise do?

  • Makes a long-term investment in qualified and dedicated scientists.
  • Enables research institutions to enroll more patients and progress more quickly with clinical trials.
  • Lays the groundwork for a cure.

To the many volunteers and golfers who have attended the tournament for decades, THANK YOU for being the heart of our tournament, and making a difference in the lives of those living with bleeding disorders and their families.
