The Mighty Sticker Club Proudly Welcomes A New Member!

John J. is the newest man of steel to reach a milestone.  He is a proud new member of the Mighty Sticker Club.  To become a member, he mastered the steps for self infusion including mixing factor, selecting a vein, sticking himself, giving his own factor, and completing a treatment calendar.  What an accomplishment!  His mother was lucky enough to see him honored and receive his certificate and watch at Spring Family Camp 2012. 

This has been a big year as John worked diligently to become a self-infuser.  It all started with a challenge given by his parents to complete his training before he could attend a summer mission trip with his father.  The challenge helped John see that he could be self-sufficient and take full ownership of the infusion process.  Which one of you is the next man of steel? Congratulations to John, we are all so proud of you at Hemophilia of Georgia!
