Camp Twin Lakes is in full swing with another fun-filled, jam-packed summer season after one of its most successful years to date!  CTL will host more than 8,500 campers throughout the 2011 calendar year.  When campers arrive, they will be introduced to exciting camp improvements at CTL-Rutledge.

Thanks to a generous donation of $700,000 from the Imlay Foundation, campers at Camp Twin Lakes-Rutledge are enjoying a brand new, state-of-the-art, zero-entry pool, which was completed in May.  The pool has a water slide, splash zone, deep end, and plenty of room for more swimmers than the old pool.

The tree house got a facelift with a new bark exterior, animal prints decorating the interior, and a leaf-rubbing station.  There’s also a new puppet theater, 20 new adult bikes, a new AED, signage to camp from the highway, and a farm (including a chicken coop)!

Hemophilia of Georgia helped Camp Twin Lakes add a disc golf course and much-needed misters at the ball field, a high adventure element called the Giant Swing, a new golf cart, and a sound system for the Turtle Cove amphitheater.

Camp Twin Lakes also has six new aquatic wheelchairs, two accessible hayride wagons, and a portable, accessible, inflatable stargazing dome!  Camp Twin Lakes is grateful for the support of its 52 Camp Partners and looks forward to continued growth in the years to come.
