On Saturday October 12, 2024, Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) hosted a Fall Festival Family Day at Camp Southern Ground in Fayetteville, GA. HoG hosted 88 people from 21 families. Families were given the opportunity to participate in hands-on educational activities around the clotting process, modifying exercises to fit their needs, and mindfulness via drumming. Families also had time to bond while participating in a variety of crafts, decorating pumpkins, interacting with a bubble display, and getting their faces painted. Camp Southern Ground offered families a delicious lunch, time to shoot archery, and a nature hike during the beautiful fall weather. To conclude the day, families enjoyed participating in a trunk or treat costume contest and a silent disco. Everyone had a wonderful time!
