Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) staff, clients, and volunteers attended the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation’s 76th Annual Bleeding Disorders Conference at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from September 12-14, 2024. HoG sent four client families via a travel grant, three volunteers, and many staff members to the conference for three incredible days of educational sessions, networking opportunities, and exciting exhibits. There was also an Educational Kids Program available for children 12 years old and younger.

Hemophilia of Georgia had a booth at the event where the bleeding disorder community could come and learn about our organization. Several of our staff had the honor of presenting to this national audience. HoG’s Chief Strategy Officer, Elizabeth Solomon, presented HTC/Payer Collaborations to Address Current Threats to Care Delivery at the Comprehensive Care Sustainability Collaborative session. Christy Humphrey, an HoG Social Worker, also moderated two social work sessions. Michelle Conde, Senior Director of Advocacy at HoG, and Julia Conde, HoG client and volunteer, presented together, Parenting: Advocacy Duo- Amplifying Your Voice and Your Child's.

The event was a wonderful way for the broader bleeding disorder community to learn about Hemophilia of Georgia and the programs and services we offer.
