While we have been celebrating all year, August 17, 2023, officially marks the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG)! Over the years, our organization has made great strides in the treatment and services we provide to our clients and their families. HoG is very proud of our long history of serving the bleeding disorder community.

In 1973, Hemophilia of Georgia began its journey by focusing on ways to improve access to medicine and specialized medical services for people affected by hemophilia. Today, we have not only sustained that early work set forth by our founders but have continued to grow and expand ways to support our community. This year alone, through your generous support, we have helped approximately 2,000 individuals with bleeding disorders in Georgia. Whether through outreach nursing services, social work, clinical pharmacy services, family camp, teen retreats, Camp Wannaklot, educational programs, advocacy, support of research, volunteering, our fundraising events, or our support of care for people around the globe (in partnership with the WHF), our goal has always been focused on helping individuals with a bleeding disorder live as normally and productively as possible.

We are grateful to each of you for your steadfast support. Thank you to our clients, volunteers, donors, stakeholders, and staff, who helped make it all possible! Your time, commitment, contributions, service, and dedication to Hemophilia of Georgia is very much appreciated. This year, to celebrate our 50th anniversary please consider making a contribution to HoG in honor of you or someone you know, who has made an impact at HoG.
