Time Is Ticking—Our Scholarship Deadline Is April 23

April is the last month to apply for the John W. Youtsey Memorial Scholarship. The money is granted to eligible Hemophilia of Georgia clients to pay for education after high school. You must qualify before applying. Submit this form by April 23 to see if you qualify. 

To qualify, you must: 

  • Be an HoG client with hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, or other inherited bleeding disorder. If you are a child of a parent who died of bleeding disorder problems and your parent was an HoG client, you can also apply. 
  • Live in Georgia AND be a permanent resident for one year.  
  • Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. 
  • Attend or applied to an accredited college, university, vocational, technical, or professional degree program for the 2021-22 school year. 
  • Agree to volunteer for at least 12 hours with HoG or another HoG-approved group. This requirement must be done by May 31, 2022. This requirement is being evaluated due to the pandemic.
