A House in the Trees

Check out the new tree house that opened this summer at Camp Twin Lakes! Our campers enjoyed this new addition and its amazing features, such as an observatory, green roof, boardwalk, and slide.
Sitting next to one of the lakes, this wheelchair accessible tree house is as spacious as it is beautiful. For example, a cabin of campers can sit in a circle learning the techniques of drumming while other visitors gather around a large table to look at local treasures such as a turtle shell or a piece of wood with a beaver's tooth marks. The inside is decorated in paneled wood and natural wood furniture, making you feel like you're inside a tree! And there are lots of windows to let in the breezes, as well as the sights and sounds of Camp Twin Lakes.
Walk up the spiral staircase and watch butterflies and bees checking out the rooftop garden! Or you can explore underneath the tree house, finding plant life, insects and a tire swing just right for relaxing.
