Would you like to be an advocate?
Join the Bleeding Disorder Advocacy Program!
Hemophilia of Georgia has launched a Bleeding Disorder Advocacy Program. The program increases our profile at the state and federal level, educates the public, and enhances awareness about important policy changes affecting the community. In addition, the program serves as an extension of Hemophilia of Georgia’s efforts across the state. The program is currently seeking Georgia advocates, especially in north and south Georgia.
Advocates will possess passion, energy, and interest, as well as a commitment to serving the bleeding disorder community. Trained advocates will share Hemophilia of Georgia’s mission, priorities, and accomplishments. Advocates will engage with the bleeding disorder community in their district at client dinners, family camp, and other client events. Advocates will help raise awareness in the community and educate the public about bleeding disorders.
