Trot to Clot Walks Raise $35,000

Hemophilia of Georgia is pleased to announce the results of the fundraising efforts from the Trot to Clot Walk held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at East Cobb Park in Marietta and the Stone Mountain Trot to Clot Walk/Run that occurred on Saturday, May 21. Nearly 150 people participated in these events and helped raise $35,000 for HoG programs and services.
Josh Gordy, corner back for the Green Bay Packers, participated in both events, welcoming the attendees, signing autographs, and posing for photos with other attendees. Josh also gave a personal testimony regarding his interest and passion for working closely with Hemophilia of Georgia and the bleeding disorders community in Georgia.
Prizes were awarded to the top individual fundraisers: Chris and Heather B., Maralee C., Tammi C., Elizabeth C. and a special recognition gift was presented to Deborah A.’s family for their support. The Stone Mountain Trot to Clot run winners were Michael F. and Jennifer B.
