Trish Dominic, CEO of Hemophilia of Georgia, has announced her plans to retire in June 2015. During her tenure, Hemophilia of Georgia has grown to become one of the leading hemophilia organizations in the world. Trish is admired for her passion, dedication, energy and determination to improve care and treatment for members of the bleeding disorder community. Trish received the NHF Lifetime Achievement Award in September 2014. Read more about Trish’s accomplishments:  Click Here

“After a wonderful 30-year career at HoG, I am looking forward to a new life. I leave knowing that Hemophilia of Georgia is in good hands and that the path we have forged will continue to help improve lives.”

Karen Geney, VP of Human Resources, said “Trish has given us many gifts throughout the years. Now she has given us another very important gift, time to find a successor. She has agreed to remain in her position until the right person is found to lead us into the future.” A nationwide search has been launched with board member, Neca Smith, chairing the search committee. Washington DC-based executive search firm Vetted Solutions has been retained to identify and evaluate candidates. For additional information see the CEO Position Profile.

Those of you who know Trish may be wondering about her future plans. She said, “I have always been thankful to have had a job I loved and enjoyed. In retirement, I hope to catch up on all the books I have wanted to read but have not had the time to do so. I will spend at least a month relaxing at a beach somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico with my grandsons coming to spend a week with me. I look forward to traveling, growing perennials, volunteering in my local food bank, reading books to seniors confined to nursing homes and finding something to do part-time to keep my mind and body tuned. Thank you for your friendship and your support. We have come a long way together.”
