Scholarship Pre-Qualification Deadline Is April 15
Interested in the John W. Youtsey Memorial Scholarship, which helps qualified Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG) patients pay for post-high school education? Then don’t forget to submit your online pre-qualification form https://smr.to/p101349 by April 15.
You must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the program:
- Applicants must be an HoG patient who has hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, or another bleeding disorder. You may also be a child of a parent who died from complications of a bleeding disorder and who was a patient of HoG.
- Applicants must reside in Georgia AND have been a permanent resident of Georgia for one year.
- Applicants must have a GPA of at least 2.5.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, vocational, technical, or professional degree program OR be accepted by an accredited college, university, vocational, technical, or professional degree program.
Scholarship recipients must agree to volunteer for a minimum of 12 hours with HoG or other approved organization. This requirement must be completed by May 31, 2026.
