Josh Gordy, cornerback for the Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers, has teamed up with Hemophilia of Georgia to raise money for programs and services for people in Georgia who have inherited bleeding disorders such as hemophilia or von Willebrand Disease.
Your Help is Needed
Everyone in the bleeding disorder community in Georgia is encouraged to attend the Trot to Clot Walk/Run at Stone Mountain Park on May 21 to meet Josh and to help raise money for programs and services. Josh will meet and greet participants, kick off the walk, and be available for autographs and photos afterwards. According to HoG Director of Development Vic McCarty, “Josh’s support will bring a new level of excitement to our Trot to Clot fundraisers. With his help we will be able to raise money and educate the public about bleeding disorders. Hemophilia of Georgia really appreciates his involvement.” Josh is from Warthen, Georgia and has close relatives affected by inherited bleeding disorders. Josh also participated in the Trot to Clot Walk at East Cobb Park on April 16.
Hemophilia of Georgia hopes to raise $40,000 through the Trot to Clot fundraisers. These funds will be used to support programs that bring together clients from around the state for education, information sharing, and relationship-building.
