Horizons in Hemophilia, June 2012
By Vic McCarty, Director of Development
Hemophilia of Georgia is pleased to announce plans for the 30th annual Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at The Manor Golf and Country Club and Echelon in Alpharetta. The Atlanta Braves will once again partner with HoG on the tournament that raises money for bleeding disorder research.
The Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament planning committee will begin meeting in June to plan and coordinate the October event. Members of the planning committee identify and secure corporate sponsors and share information about participating in the golf tournament. Sponsorship commitments have already been received by the Atlanta Braves, Goodman Networks, AT&T, Ericsson, Bayer Healthcare, Biogen Idec Hemophilia Care, Cruser & Mitchell and Green Mountain Consulting. Additional sponsors are encouraged to participate. Information about corporate sponsorship is available online.
Individuals who are interested in participating in the Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament are encouraged to contact Vic McCarty, HoG’s Director of Development, at 770-518-8272 or vamccarty@hog.org. We are also seeking donations of items for the raffle and silent and live auctions which take place during the tournament reception. If you can help, please contact Vic or Lorraine at the HoG office today.
