Dear HoG:
My 10 year old son has hemophilia and Hemophilia of Georgia has been an incredible source of support for him and my family. We have attended family camp and our son went to Camp Wannaklot this past summer. Your organization does so much for my family that we would like to make a donation to HoG. What are some of the donation opportunities available?

Hemophilia of Georgia is committed to serving the bleeding disorder community of Georgia. Now more than ever, in these tough economic times, the organization relies heavily on contributions and donations to continue to provide quality programs and services to all clients. There are various opportunities to support HoG throughout the year. Here are some ways you can contribute to the overall success of our organization:
- Use Hemophilia of Georgia’s pharmacy to provide your clotting factor. Revenues from our pharmacy program support our outreach nurses and social workers, treatment centers and client activities to improve the quality of life for all those affected by bleeding disorders in Georgia.
- Currently Hemophilia of Georgia has partnered with the Atlanta Hawks for a Hoops for Hemophilia awareness night event on March 19, 2010. This is an excellent opportunity to support HoG while enjoying a night with family and friends in the bleeding disorders community.
- Use GoodSearch as your Internet search engine and GoodShop to make online purchases and support Hemophilia of Georgia. Use www.goodsearch.com when you search the Internet. Just put Hemophilia of Georgia in the box where it says "who do you GoodSearch for?" Hemophilia of Georgia earns one cent for every search. You can also raise money for HoG when you use the GoodShop online shopping mall. Visit https://www.goodsearch.com/goodshop.aspx to find coupons and discounts for more than 1000 stores. Be sure to enter Hemophilia of Georgia as the charity to receive a donation for each purchase you make.
- Each year, HoG awards the John Youtsey Memorial Scholarship. Through this program, HoG provides financial assistance to Georgia clients who are motivated and talented but lack the resources to achieve their educational goals. Contributions can be made between January and May to support scholarship awards to students for the upcoming fall school year.
- Camp Wannaklot relies on donors and contributions each year for its continued success. In April the annual support Camp Wannaklot campaign will be mailed to all potential donors and previous supporters of this program. Donations to support Camp Wannaklot each year are always greatly appreciated.
