2016 Hit 'Em for Hemophilia Golf Tournament
More than 200 golfers from across the country participated in the 34th annual Hit 'Em for Hemophilia golf tournament. Since the inception of the tournament 35 years ago, the tournament has raised millions of dollars for research to find a cure for hemophilia. It was a beautiful October day for golfing, socializing, and networking. The tournament was held at two courses, the Manor Golf and Country Club and Atlanta National Golf Club. Golfers enjoyed a day with celebrities, a putting contest with Phil Niekro, and golf games and prizes sponsored by Top Golf.
Players won prizes for Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Hole-In-One. This year, we had our first ever hole-in-one winner. One of the ADP golfers hit that magical drive. “It was amazing,” said Jeff Holmen. “I saw everyone jumping up and down and I knew I hit it in!”
Five local restaurants supplied their signatures dishes on both courses. The live and silent auctions were highlights of the day. This year, Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta sponsored a special raffle. Golfers purchased a chance to drive “A Weekend with a Ferrari.” The lucky winner got to drive a California T for an entire weekend!
