Step 20: Tape the tubing, if needed, just below the butterfly wings

Guidelines:

• Tape just below the butterfly wings if needed to hold it in place.
• Use paper tape.  Paper tape is a special tape made to be used on skin.  It comes off easily without hurting.

Caution: Taping on top of the butterfly wings may move the needle out of the vein.
