Preconception Planning
Individuals have many options when considering their family planning. Creating a safe space to talk openly about what is important to you and how you would use information can be wonderful first steps. Not all individuals will choose the same approach. A Genetic Counselor and an Ob/Gyn who specializes in high-risk pregnancies (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) or a Reproductive Endocrinologist can help to provide additional information. When possible, consider your options before becoming pregnant to optimize the care of both you and your baby. Refer to the Family Planning Section.
