HoG Teens Love Georgia Teen Institute

My experience at GTI has been an amazing experience and adventure.  The extravagant activities that the GTI staff provided for me helped educate about becoming a better leader and taking the things they teach us and applying them to everyday life. 

Also I’m blessed with the opportunity to spend four whole days with some pretty amazing people such as Ms. Deniece, Ms. Kim, Ms. Mary Ann, Mr. Robert, and my peers, Chayse, Louis, and Shantrice. By the end of the week, we all became a family.

From all the fun workshops to all the family groups, overall this GTI experience has been very effective. It’s been a fun-filled experience and I recommend that if anyone has the opportunity to come to this program, be sure to attend because it can teach you a different point of view on leadership skills and is not something everyone can come to.

My time at GTI was a wonderful experience. I would love to do this again next year. I learned new things about being a leader. Becoming a leader takes a lot of work but you would be proud of yourself and the ideas you come up with.

I had the best time with Josie, Louis, Chayse, Ms. Deniece, Ms. Mary Ann, Mr. Robert, and Ms. Kim. The things I learned at GTI I will show to my friends, family, and everybody else who is willing to learn new things and apply to their life like I am.
