Treatment Information
Physician to Physician Telephone Hotline
This telephone hotline is available 24 hours a day for Georgia physicians who need to consult with a hematologist for emergency treatment information.
Treatment Guidelines
Hemophilia of Georgia publishes Protocols for the Treatment of Hemophilia and von Willebrand Disease for physicians and other medical providers. These guidelines have been adopted by the World Federation of Hemophilia.
Clinic and Research Funding
Hemophilia of Georgia provides financial support for hemophilia treatment centers throughout the state to ensure that the treatment centers are fully staffed and equipped. In addition, Hemophilia of Georgia invests in critical research for hemophilia and its complications.
Medical In-Service Presentations
Hemophilia of Georgia outreach nurses often make in-service presentations at physicians' and dentists' offices to provide education and build awareness of bleeding disorders. To schedule an in-service presentation, please contact the outreach nursing staff at (770) 518-8272.
